REWARDS IN THE GOOD AS GOLD PROGRAM |
Each student will have an
envelope that they will be bringing home on Fridays. This "Friday
Folder" will contain work and any tests that we have completed that
week. I ask that you sign the tests AND the "Friday Folder"
envelope on the appropriate line. Please have your child return any
signed tests and the envelope to school the following Monday. The
corrected daily assignments DO NOT have to be returned. If
tests are sent home during the middle of the week, please sign and
return ASAP, and don't wait for the Friday Folder to return it. |

This is a reading program in which a child reads a book and then takes a computerized quiz over it. Students are awarded points based upon the questions answered correctly. Each month your child will need to earn points for part of their reading grade and this also counts towards the Book-It/ Pizza Ranch coupon program, and for a monthly reward from the Lawrence Library. This will start in September and each student will need to earn 5 points by the end of that month. From there on we work with each student to set up realistic individualized goals each month after. |
Each month the students will be assigned a book report. After recieving the information, they will have 1 week to let me know which book they are choosing to do their report on.They will get the information at the beginning of every month and have the month to complete it. They will recieve a sheet to fill out and a rubric of the expectations. |
